Fragrance free Hydration

I recently tried La Roche Posay's Lipikar Oil, a fragrance-free gentle foaming cleansing oil. Having dry and sensitive skin, I was intrigued by the product's claims of being fragrance-free and suitable for both face and body. Firstly, I must say that the fragrance-free claim is 100% accurate. Drying and irritating

I have dry, sensitive skin and this did not work for my skin at all. It was not moisturizing making my skin dry, tight and red. Sad :(

Received a sample of this and love it so much i just bought a full size. It gets my skin smoother than i even thought was possible! Not really sure if i am supposed to use this alone or as part of a double cleanse, it feels mostly like normal facewash.

I used this for about a week and then I had to stop. I have dry skin so I figured I should try this instead of the normal bottle I get. The first day wasn't bad but the next day the skin on my face was so irritated and sensitive which isn't normal for me. I figured maybe my skin isn't used to it but then the next day my skin was SOOOO dry even after applying my moisturizer & sunscreen. Eventually the irritation got so painful I had to stop using it. as soon as I went back to the hydrating gentle cleanse my face went back to normal.

Feeling a bit duped, not an oil cleanser

Like the review title, this isn't a true oil cleanser. It feels more like a gel consistency. It does remove make up really well however it's not particularly hydrating, and as I wait for my face to dry, it does feel a bit tight and is certainly not hydrated, if a bit tight. Ill keep giving it a go just to see but I'll probably downgrade this to a body wash or see if my husband likes it.

I have tried many cleansers that claim to remove makeup. This one really works! It is gentle on the skin and very effective.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

Not for me.

Wanted to try this because I love their purifying foaming cleanser but this broke me out in little bumps and left my skin a strange texture. Also not a true oil cleanser and has a very strange texture.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend
