Use Pencil Sharpener before each application for most precise application.
For a natural look, start at the cupid's bow, moving along the natural lip line toward the outer corners. Sketch in small sections for easy control.
For bold definition, apply more pressure starting from the outer corners, lining inward to the center of the lip. Concentrate color on the outer portions of the lip before filling in to create contour and fullness.

This lip liner truly delivers on all its claims! Rich Brown is a gorgeous, nicely pigmented shade that complements my deeper complexion beautifully. The staying power is impressive. I'm someone who regularly touches up my lips throughout the day, but I decided to put this liner to the ultimate test by wearing it in the shower. To my surprise, it barely budged! The formula is smudge-proof, stays in place, and holds up incredibly well. I even paired it with a lip oil, which I consider the real test of a long-lasting liner, and it performed beautifully. The Night Bird shade is a beautiful medium-deep brown that adds definition and pairs well with different lip colors. The formula feels creamy but sets to a velvet matte finish that doesn't smudge or transfer easily. It's also easy to sharpen for a more precise application. Definitely a new favorite in my makeup routine!

This was gifted by NARS and the lip liner in night bird is such an amazing color and goes well with so many of my lippies that need a darker liner. It goes on so smoothly and does a fantastic job of keeping the lipstick in line.
