Very hydrating, super pigmented!
I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. This gloss is super pigmented. It definitely has a creamy serum like texture. It is not sticky or gooey. You get a ton of color with just one swipe and it smells a little bit like coconut. I put it over my dry lips with nothing else ...

Good choice depending on what you're looking for
When this new "magenta mist" color came out, I was curious to see if this could be a viable drugstore dupe for Fenty's "fuchsia wife" lip stain (my favorite). They look relatively similar when freshly applied, but when you wipe the stain off, NYX's color is a LOT lighter than Fenty's. If you're OK with the lighter color payoff (might be more forgiving for beginners?) or you care more about saving money, I would recommend this product. Also because of the coconut water, NYX's stain smells like coconut, just keep that in mind. (If this looks like a duplicate, it's because I didn't realize I couldn't upload photos when writing a product review on the Ulta app, and the photos are important for showing how the two products compare. Sorry...)
Good as-is but not a strong stain
When I saw this new "magenta mist" color come out, I was curious to see if this lip stain could be a drugstore dupe for Fenty's "fuschia wife" lip stain (my holy grail lip product). The formula is very similar, which is good, but the color payoff in the NYX version isn't strong at all. Even with multiple coats, the NYX stain is still VERY light when you wipe it off compared to the Fenty. If you don't care about strong pigmentation as much as the price point, though, I would highly recommend this product. (Smells good too, because of the coconut water)

I got this on a whim because ive liked Nyx products before. This is a great one! (I got cranberry splash) however, it did not last fully all day so another application was needed. As a base for gloss it is amazing!
