Fantastic little make up sharp
Great little durable eye, pencil sharpener, sharpens, perfectly uneven. No mess because it comes with a top and a bottom cover so it's completely enclosed no messes.

Le Sharpener
This sharpener is so hard to use. It chews up the eye pencil. This is the third one I have had to buy and is the only one that will sharpen the gel eye pencil. They sharpen for a short period of time and then destroys and wastes your pencil. Ridiculous

The reason I am happy to write a review for a no-frills sharpener is because Lancome is one of the few luxury brands remaining where customers can still buy an eyeliner or lipliner PENCIL. Not only the plastic, "self-sharpening" disposable tubes where the pigment has to be advanced (and sometimes can't be retracted), but a full-length pencil that provides around 5 times more product than those tubes. This sharpener is always ready to put a fine point on the tip, which means the product never dries out, is less likely to break from dropping, and stays fresh for a very long time, as long as you give it a fresh spin through the blade. I feel the sharpener is overpriced, but I have sharpeners from the 80s that still work, so it's a decent value.
