Open the curler and position it at the base of your upper lashes. Gently squeeze the handles of the curler together and hold for several seconds. Release the curler and move it up to the middle of your lashes, then squeeze again for a more intense curl. Always curl lashes before mascara application. Replace curler pad after 3 months. I've used the same Maybelline eyelash curler forever so I know I'm biased because I'm just so accustomed to that mechanism, but this curler and I are still getting used to each other. Not for Short Lashes or Deep Set Eyes!
I bought this eyelash curler, excited that I would get one with a "spring" and looking better than some others. However, I was incredibly disappointed upon trying to use this curler. I have deep set eyes and short eyelashes, but I've never run into a problem with any number of curlers in the past....

It was fine, until it wasn't
This eyelash curler wasn't amazing, but it was working just fine until the plastic comfort grip snapped off and the curler smacked me in the face mid eyelash curl haha I would not recommend.
