I was reading the reviews on this because I have a l'ange straightener but it's not the digital one, I love it but the plates are damaged which is in turn causing breakage to my hair (just from how long I've had it and regular ware and tear) but I read a lot that this straightener will just stop working without warning, what would be the cause of that and could it be prevented?

- Official Answer By L'ange Hair - Brand EngageThanks for reaching out! We're sorry to hear about your experience. While we can’t diagnose specific issues, we do offer a one-year warranty on all of our tools, and we recommend reviewing our warranty policy to see if your tool may be eligible for a replacement. Was this answer helpful to you

How do you change the voltage to 110w?
- Asked by Italy Bound
- Official Answer By L'ange Hair - Brand EngageThe L’ange Le Ceramique is designed with dual voltage (100–240V), which means it automatically adjusts to the correct voltage when you plug it in internationally — no manual switch is needed! If you're using it in a country with 110V (like the U.S.), just plug it in and you're good to go! If you’re traveling internationally, just make sure to use a plug adapter for the outlet shape, and the tool will handle the voltage adjustment on its own.Was this answer helpful to you
- Q
Is it truly universal/dual voltage? Or do you actually need a voltage converter plus a converter plug for it?
- Asked by Mel Pel
- Official Answer By L'ange Hair - Brand EngageYes! This tool is truly dual voltage, meaning it automatically adapts to different voltage levels (100-240V) when traveling internationally. I am a #1 fan of all Lange' products! I have every hot tool and their hair dryers all of which are awesome tools for hair that's thin, thick, curly or straight! I prefer my iron to stay on and retain its temperature setting. It's inconvenient to have to turn it on and reset the temperature every time I plug it in.

I was hesitant to try this straightener, thought it wouldn't really straighten my hair especially for that price, but now I think I will purchase only that brand. I have thick wavy hair, but I trust this straightener to straighten my hair about the only that's been able to

Great straightener but doesn't last
Was a great straightener, left my hair very shiny and didnt cause a lot of damage but it stopped working less than 2 years after i got it. It wont stay turned on

Hair Type Wavy Hair
I was in need of a new flat iron and did a lot of research on different tools. I liked this one for the sleek look, black color, longer heated pads than my previous flat iron. It heats up quickly and can really straighten well. What I don't like is that the display says OFF all the time (when turned off) - this is a good indicator that it's off, but is also unnecessary especially when I usually leave my iron plugged in all the time and it leaves a glowing light in the dark. I also don't like that the default temperature is 400. That is very hot and requires me to turn it down to a lower temp *every single time* I turn it on. Lastly, I find that I have to 'squeeze' the tongs together a bit more than I realize to get it to hold my hair -- I don't think you should have to 'squeeze' that hard for a tool that is literally meant to be pressed together. All in all, it's nice tool at a nice price point, but I'm still debating whether to return it or not (inside the return period). I don't think I would buy it again.
