Let me first start out by saying I've probably "written" (not just given stars) a review for a place or product probably as many times as I can count on one hand, and I'm 'eh hem, 46! Also, let me share that I recently went through a severe state of depression and didn't/couldn't leave my house beca...use of it. (So you can imagine I did not care about makeup, getting dressed up, putting on jewelry, let alone style my hair) I decided to turn my negative into a positive direction and became healthier and happier than I've been in quite sometime. I'm down 30lbs now & feeling more confident of getting together with friends again. BUT, now I have to figure out my hair. (Everyone knows a good or bad hair day can make or break your day, it's just FACTS) I came across L'ange advertisements and figured I would give this a go since I am in a great place mentally and physically. Now just to inform you all I have been spoiled in the past as for over 10 years I would go get my hair blown out once a week at a salon. It was great because it was like my "spa day" and my hair always smelled, felt and looked great! However; it was a blessing and a curse because for over 10 years now I didn't do my own hair AND the amount of $$$ I spent over all of these years!!! … And so I share this meaning I didn't even know HOW to do my own hair anymore. So I relied solely on these appointments. Then COVID happened and I was in trouble because salons weren't open and I didn't know the first thing about what to do with my hair. I happened upon some Facebook advertisements of watching these beautiful, kind and often funny ladies doing tutorials on how yo use L'ange products. I watched a few of them and thought, hey I think I can do this! They make it look so easy (as I've learned, because it is!) So I went for it and recently bought a plethora of hot styling tools and products!!! :grinning_face_with_star_eyes: I have received this Le Vogue just recently and the only one I've used thus far, as the other ones are all on their way and I can't wait to play! I couldn't believe how easy it was and how the end result was exactly how they said it would be in their tutorial videos (thanks ladies :kissing_heart:) I still need to practice a bit with it just to get the end result exactly how I want it but my first try was pretty darn successful. I also learned that after a day or two it looks even better (as the curls/crimps drop a bit so it's not as tight looking and that also has to do with how long I leave it on my hair from initial styling) Just to let you all know, I have very long and what many say is beautiful thick hair, however; what they don't know about this long, thick & coarse hair is it can also be a pain as it takes sooo incredibly long to shampoo, condition, detangle, style etc. This takes time away from other things I love to be doing. It's just too easy to throw it up into a messy bun. Thankfully, I don't wash my hair everyday as mentioned before (which you shouldn't anyway) and so this couple hours process happens once a week. Yes you heard that right, more so on the regular I wash it once a week unless I've been somewhere (somewhere smokey, or at an event where it would tend to get dirtier quicker) So in between I NEED to use dry shampoo and scalp products to keep it fresh looking, smelling, healthier and not greasy/oily looking. Having the Le Vogue has cut my time in half tremendously when pertains to styling and the end result is just wow! It makes my hair even fuller looking which is surprising as it's already so full and gives it a crimp/curl bounce that is beautiful. I cannot wait to receive the other hot styling tools, products and shampoos & conditioners so my styling time will be cut down even more and my hair will look even healthier. This will give me more time to do the other things I love to do, like be with my family, my fur babies and get together with my friends! Thank you L'ange Ladies! Yes I'm getting 100 points for leaving a review BUT my review could've been just one sentence… this long review speaks volumes of L'ange and hopefully can relate to many of you and hopefully it's helpful for you too!
