While I like the flavor and texture of this li balm, it doesn't last a long time. I had to reapply after an hour. I will say that the tingling sensation is not as bad as other products I have used. It goes on smooth.

I received the Milani Balmshell plumping lip balm in shade 240 Luminoso free of charge for my honest review. Luminoso is a coral-y pink with gold and silver glitter and from how it looked in the tube, I thought it would be quite pretty on. However, once on the lips the color isn't terribly pigmented but the glitter is really chunky. It's not the most flattering combo and one I'd associate more with middle school girls than anyone using a plumping balm. Color aside, this started irritating my lips as soon as I put it on - you can see the inflammation along my lip line in the photo. I initially thought this was the plumping action, but after a few minutes with the irritation only getting worse, I took the gloss off. There's a small chance this could be an allergic reaction, but I've only ever reacted to one other product without a common ingredient. In any case, my experience was of splotchy, irritating, disco-ball lips so I can't recommend this gloss.
