I'd wanted a kabuki style brush since I visited Illamasqua's Beak Street shop in London and the makeup artist used it to apply my foundation. I didn't, however, want to pay a ton of money for it. At a tenth (yes, a tenth!) of the price of a more expensive brand's brush you'll get very similar results with this one. While it does lose a few bristles, it's not excessive, and the brush should last you a while before replacing it. It puts foundation on in a way which gives great coverage (but doesn't look cakey), and my skin looked flawless after using it. I bought the larger (body) kabuki brush to apply powder with. This is an excellent buy, and a great product. Don't hesitate!
Loved the brush and used it forever, then went to deep clean it and it literally fell apart. The base became unattached from bristles and they all fell out. I will repurchase this brush again but will try a different method when it comes to cleaning it.

I have been using this brush for over a year. It washes well. It is perfect for Bronzer and I continue to buy this for family and friends. I have purchased at least six of these.

I recently purchased a new brush and I was a little disappointing. The old brushes were thicker and the brush itself was just thicker and better. The new one seems to be lacking a few bristles and may be they are a tad longer which makes it a little softer. The softness is nice but I prefer the thicker brush.

The brush is super soft and was great to use with loose powder

I have had expensive, brand name kabuki brushes. This one is not as sturdy and has cheaper bristles, but this one is still very effective. Great for a thin application of powdered products and a sheer, buildable application of cream products. It's a bit too big for the face, but I think it's good for finishing off a look with loose powder and applying bronzer all over the body. I wish there was a sturdy case for this though because it doesn't fit into any brush roller or cup.

I wanted to love this brush and I do when it comes to applying product; however, I washed it once and right away I noticed so many bristles fell off. I let it air dry but I noticed the next time I went to use it there were hairs all over my face. The next time I washed it, it was even worse.

Very soft, but does a great job of applying my
bare mineral base powder.

If you're looking an inexpensive brush to distribute loose powder all over the face, look no further! This brush is perfect and super easy to clean. Great for brushing excess powder away after baking

I saw a makeup demo on Facebook using a Kabuki brush to apply blush and wanted to try it. I've always used an angled blush brush. Ordered this brush and the retractable Kabuki. Swiping the Kabuki over my cheekbones gives me a nice glow, not an "applied with precision" look. I only need one quick swipe across the blush and a swirl onto my cheeks and done! Love the control and simplicity! The brush is soft as a bunny tail, does NOT lose bristles when I clean it and produces amazing results!

I bought this to basically blend face makeup to finish and is soft and worked well.

I've had this brush going on 4 years, and I still use it almost every. single. day. Literally, 98% of days for 4 years now, and it's still going strong. I wash it every so often (probably not as often as I should) but there's no shedding, the bristles remain incredibly soft, and the shape is holding up fantastically. When I first started using makeup, I was looking for a brush for loose powder, and I got super confused because of all the options regarding bristle density, length, and shape-if I'm being honest, I'm still rather confused-but chose this one because I guess it looked soft, fluffy, and I thought the size would be convenient since it's so small, and it served my needs perfectly. I absolutely love this brush, and once my old one needs to be thrown out (although I'm somewhat convinced it's immortal) I'm going out to grab a new one!

I needed a brush for my finishing powder and this one came up, so I added it to a recent order. It's adorable, soft, and the brush area is huge for a little tabletop kabuki. Does the trick! Only giving 4 stars because I can't speak to its durability yet since I just got it.

First off, this brush is huge. I can cover my whole face in a few swipes. The handle is weighted, which is something I wasn't expecting but I like. The bristles are super soft. So far I've experienced zero shedding. Overall, I would recommend this for a compact face or body brush

I have dry skin and like to use brushes that dont apply too much powder to further agitate my dry skin. This kabuki face brush picks up just enough and disperses the right amount of powder onto my face without causing excess dryness. It cleans very well too because the bristles of the brush aren't densely packed.

The first time I've purchased that brush was few years ago, and I love it so much...
And when now I needed to purchase a new brush, I didn't search for any other brushes on another sites- I knew that just need the same E.L.F. kabuki

I bought this after the kabuki brush that came with my mineral foundation died. It's so soft, picked up a good amount of product and blended in very nicely. I've always loved elf brushes and I'm happy to add this to my collection.

Sooo soft and better than my expensive brushes.

I am a bit obsessed with this brush! I actually use it to apply my powder foundation. I also blend my blush with it a little bit too.
