I'm becoming more and more disappointed with this brand.
I have been using tarte beauty products for 10 to 15 years now. I do not understand why a company continues to take knockout, holy Grail products that are clearly selling and replace them with trash in the same packaging. First the Amazonian clay park ave princess bronzer was ripped away and now the glo bar?! When I first opened this thinking I had purchased the original on their sale, I immediately noticed that the product is no longer mounded, but flat. And not even flat at the brim at that, like sunken flat. Sure enough when I looked and compared it to the dying remnants of my old glo bar, it is much less product for the same price!! On top of that, this does not finish off your makeup like the OG. It looks and feels thicker and cheap. I'm using the same foundation but when I finish it off with this new product, it appears dry and settles in lines. The worst part though? The glitter. I am not 15. The old product gave you a subtle glow that looked like it was your skin. I wore it for my wedding day and it was amazing. This looks like something you'd buy at Claire's when you wear it. Continuing to change products so drastically, yet package them and name them almost the same, feels like a bait and switch. And now with all the horrible things I'm hearing about the company CEO and their influencer ties, I will be looking for another company to give my money to.
