So so so pretty!
These eyeshadows are so lovely and sparkly, but if you go into them thinking you're going to get insane one-swipe pigmentation like Pat McGrath or Danessa Myricks, you're going to be disappointed. These are buildable, so the first layer or swatch is going to be sheer, but you can work them up to a more opaque look. The colors are beautiful, ethereal glitters, but not the kinds of shadows you can use in like a 2016-style cut crease!
I Really Like This Product
I think this is a good pallete and worth buying but only at a discounted price. I like how iridescent the shades are especially in the sun. 4/6 are nicely pigmented (Cassie and Jules could be more pigmented). They swatch out nicely and smoothly on the eyelid and skin. The packaging is not that annoying but can be. My main gripe with this pallete would be the price and the color jules as I believe it's not that pigmented and icy blue would work better.
Not Worth
so I fell into the hype and got this when it first dropped. im just now getting around to using it and it's for sure not hooded eye friendly. it sheers out incredibly quickly and if you have hooded eyes it wipes off almost immediately. for 6 pans, you can for sure go to another brand like Colourpop.
absolutely gorgeous - tons of compliments
I was pleasantly surprised with this palette. While you can apply these sheer, you also can build them for rich color payoff. Every color is gorgeous, unique and wearable. Rue is my favorite color maybe ever and I always get compliments. wish I could buy it separately. Lexi is so pretty and such a great highlight or inner corner color but also pretty on its own. I've also layered over black which was insane. also, I got used to the packaging -- yay for no plastic! give it a try - it's great.
Very Cute Sheer Glitters
The packaging was a cute and ambitious idea that doesn't work quite as well in execution than concept. Or maybe I got unlucky because the button you push down to slide out the palette was already slightly folded back when I first unboxed it. I think if they used plastic instead of paper/cardboard, it would have worked out better. That being said, the shadows themselves are great. I was first drawn towards Cassie, but now I use Rue and Lexi just as often. They're the perfect shimmer for my preference. The glitterpucks are a tad too much for my taste, but these are smaller glitter grains which I like better.
