I have oily, acne-prone skin. I am seeking a foundation that provides full-coverage & help control the oil. I was told that a matte foundation would be good for that. I'm currently using Infallible 505 in Toffee & it matches my complexion well. Which # in this Pro-Matte line would match the 505 Toffee color? Also, what's the difference between the Pro-Matte with the black cap vs. the red cap?

Too frustrating to find the right shade

Better than most
I usually use the Maybelline Superstay foundation, but it seems they have discontinued it, so I've been trying all foundations labelled "longwear" and "matte." So far this is the best one I've found. I have oily skin, and need a strong and long lasting foundation. So far this one seems to be working out well for me for every day. It has a nice finish, and with a setting powder and a primer, its pretty good with oil cotrol. I have yet to see how it holds up on a hot summer day, but my hopes are high. The shade range is pretty good too, which is something I've also been having trouble with.

It's not terrible
I like it for a lot of reasons. But I don't love it because my face feels dry after a while and it settles into my lines and wrinkles. I do like the coverage, how it's very matte, shade range, and all that stuff you look for in a foundation.
Been using this for years
I don't know why I even try other foundations as I end up disliking them and going back to this one every time! Coverage lasts all day and stays matte. Don't need to use a lot to obtain full coverage. Skin looks smooth and color matches my skin perfect.
I would buy this product again
I love this foundation it cover everything & is just write for my warm skin color
