Not what I was looking for
The packaging of this Velvet lipstick is stylish, looks luxurious, the color of the lipstick was nice too - cool dark brown, without an orange undertone (Bread Winn'r shade). It smells like fish
I had an old lipstick same brand and color it smelled awful like fish. I got a new one for Christmas yet again has the same smell I'm convinced as the item gets older the stronger the scent becomes. I will not buy this brands lipstick again.
Better options out there
I loved the color & how pigmented it was, but it had a disgusting fishy smell. As soon as I opened the tube to test the color, I could not get past the smell. I returned immediately.
Product Spoils Quickly
I've had two of these dry up, fall apart (the tube restricter at the top comes off), and SPOIL in well less than a year. Fishy odor. Looking at the ingredients list, it appears that this formula is not preserved at all, so it's a breeding ground for bacteria. This is really irresponsible of the brand. It's a shame because the colors are lovely and the formula feels nice. But it is not safe for a lip product to have no preservatives.
I wish I could give it a better rating but…
I have 2 different shades, the colors are nice and the product would be great, but the packaging is awful. I can't take it anywhere because it leaks so much, its super messy. As bad as i want to use it, it just gets everywhere! I havent had this problem with other products, it is very frustrating.

I love my HBIC lipstick. Had been trying to get for awhile, always out. It was well worth the wait!!
