It is an effective morning cleanser! It doesn't feel like it is stripping all your natural oils and leaving you dry. It has a cooling gel formulation which would be perfect for summer time and morning use!

I've been using this e.l.f. Holy Hydration Clean Freak Cleanser for a while, it's pretty good for what it is. The packaging is simple, plastic squeeze tube. It's a clear gel and the texture feels creamy, then turns into a light foam that spreads easily on the skin. It rinses off well and leaves my skin with a little tightness. My face feels clean but still soft after washing. It scent is very light but it still has fragrance which is likely synthetic. It has skin-nourishing Ingredients such as hyaluronic acid and ceramides that help keep the skin hydrated, and I do notice my face looks a little smoother after using it regularly. It's not perfect though. If I'm wearing heavier makeup, I have to go in with a separate makeup remover first because this cleanser alone can't take everything off. But for everyday use, it's gentle and does the job well. I think it's a nice, affordable option if you want something that gently cleans.
