Waste of time, money, and lied about the term "Glossy"
I absolutely never leave review on products. Perhaps a bit hypocritical because I always refer to said reviews in helping determine whether I should purchase product-so my review is as follows. This Verb Glossy shampoo and conditioner are both garbage. After first use, whilst drying my hair, I actua...

My go to choice for shampoo/conditioner
Hair Type Wavy Hair
The first time I bought this one, hoping to get some shine into my hair, I was realllyyy nervous from all the reviews that it was too heavy and greasy. Now I wait for the jumbo sale so I can buy the huge bottles every year. I picked up the smaller ones on sale recently just so I can have "my" hair products in my travel bag, especially because my hair is so long little travel bottles are like a one and done. It probably definitely has a lot to do with hair type. I'm mixed, have multi textured hair, and usually keep it braided, and its a big kinky frizzy mess on "wash day" When the ghost oil came out I reallly wanted a bottle because it was SO hyped....and it did absolutely nothing for me. And a lot of my hair is relatively thin/fine too. The shampoo in particular (because I use both) still preserves some of the clarifying properties of the Ghost shampoo/conditioner so it feels super clean, doesn't leave me with scalp buildup, and it doesn't weigh down my hair or feel greasy at all. It doesn't actually really deliver on shine though unfortunately, but I just like having nice products that actually work for my hair, so I still keep coming back to it, and at the prices.....I'm hesitant to stray away from what I know works for me. I was kinda ticked off when I was shopping in-store for once, and they were pitching me Verb stuff, because I genuinely did want to try the oil due to the hype and how the Ghost shampoo and conditioner worked passably well for me. But I was kinda annoyed when I was going through my hair routine, and the rep immediately dropped the smile, cut me off, and pointed me to the "black"/"protective style" not-even-a-whole aisle and walk away. I have super long hair and I go through a lot of time, energy (and money) to preserve length and health. This was totally it for me, and I wish she'd taken the time to suggest it instead of me gambling kind of a substantial amount on it price-wise myself after reading all the negative reviews. I actually got some products I loved through one of the random beauty/influencer clubs I'm in. And the oil/leave in was so impressive I switched to their shampoo and conditioner line during one of my jumbo pickups, because I'm getting really into bonding treatments so I can keep my hair stronger and have to cut off fewer dead ends and it was a bonding line... but I ended up coming back to Verb Glossy again and again. It just seems to work the best for me. They definitely seemed oriented towards more...European hair...so I can't say whether or not I'd recommend to a friend because it would 100% depend on their hair type. I can't even speak to if it would even be "enough" for coarser or coily hair types, or even just much thicker hair honestly. I have picked up the Glossy treatment spray/heat protectant stuff to see if I can actually get some shine going (fingers crossed) for the days I decide to wear it straightened/down.
Use with caution

I'll preface this by saying that I know allergies can vary greatly from person to person. However, I'm writing this review as a potential warning to others who may have a reaction similar to mine. I have mildly sensitive skin. It tends to be very dry and I have struggled with perioral dermatitis for many years (it is now well controlled). I have NEVER had eczema. Over the month or so of using the VERB Glossy Shampoo/Conditioner, I developed progressively worsening eczema and swelling on my face and neck. I attributed it to a new face serum that I had tried, but the swelling and redness continued to worsen even after I stopped using it. It took me a while to make the association between the shampoo and the reaction because I never had any symptoms on my scalp. After 2 days of stopping use, my skin has already improved tremendously and begun to heal. As for the actual function of the product, I felt that this shampoo/conditioner fell short. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything to write home about. It made my hair feel kind of heavy, and I did not notice any improvement in the shine. It definitely wasn't worth what my skin had to go through. I'll go back to my Matrix 'Food For Soft' shampoo/conditioner. I have attached photos of the progression of my symptoms, as well as photos of my skin after I stopped using the product.

DO NOT PURCHASE - waste of money

Worst S/C I've used in a long time. Made my hair dull, dehydrated, and had to stop using after 2 weeks. Disappointing product.,
Wouldn't buy and recommend you don't either
I bought this because ive loved other verb products but this one fell short. After using my hair felt wet the rest of the day. Its impossible to wash out and left my hair feeling gross and weighed down. I dont have particularly fine hair either so i thought that it would be a good choice :(
foaming and lather
The way that you get a shampoo that lathers is by having sodium lauryl sulfate SLS. This is considered a detergent that is why it lathers up, that is why it foams, that is why it damages your hair. There is nothing about foaming that improves your hair. So for everybody crying about no lather be happy it has no lather as it means it is not stripping your hair.
