Magical!
I am seriously loving this satin curling rod. I have long mid-back length color treated hair. My hair holds a curl fairly easily but mostly falls out by the end of the day even with setting spray. I'm trying to use less products and heat tools on my hair to keep it healthier. I ordered this satin cu...

Unsuccessful to date
I have tried to use the satin curling set three times so far. Unfortunately, my hair has not turned out looking anything like in the videos I've watched or the reviews I read. However, it might be user error. I have quite thick hair that is medium length. (I have not yet tried using special curling ...

Really hard to make it work with my medium long, thick hair. Individual curlers would work better

I've read about this and have always wanted to try it, I decided to give it a go and I'm pleased that I did.

I should've gotten the XL curlers.. I need them. This is too small for my hair, I need like 3 of them. That being said, it does work very well for the hair that I can wrap around it. It is kind of a pain to get used to, but with practice it's not too bad. When you take it out after having it in over night, your hair will look dreamily wavy in the AM. I need the XL one on top of this one in my hair though.. ha. Ordering that one. It is slippery, so you gotta be quick with tying it up. Hair looks so surprisingly good though after having this in for at least 5 hours - I tried it in the evening too for 5 hours and took it out, also looked gorgeous.
Stunning results!!

- Q
I usually apply a curl product to my damp hair before air drying or using a diffuser. Do I skip that step when using this?
- Asked by Kristin
- Official Answer By KITSCH - Brand EngageNo need to skip it! Apply your curl cream or mousse to damp hair as usual, then wrap sections around the rod. Just avoid heavy products that could slow drying time. Let hair dry completely before removing the rod for best results. Was this answer helpful to you
- Q
Can you use this product on locs?
- Asked by Queen2U
- Official Answer By KITSCH - Brand EngageIt’s not ideal for locs. This set is designed to wrap loose hair around a satin rod to create curls or waves, which works best on straight, wavy, or loosely textured hair. For locs, the structure and thickness make it difficult to properly wrap and secure around the rod, so you may not get the intended results. It also won’t define curls in the same way it does on loose strands. We recommend you to use Kitsch Flexi Rods instead. Was this answer helpful to you
