After shampooing, thoroughly towel-dry hair to remove excess water. Brush out hair using a detangling brush or comb, and separate into large sections. Place The Half Shot underneath each section and work it gradually from roots to ends, until the section is dry and smooth. The Half Shot can also be used on dry hair to create a smooth, finished look. For defined curls and waves, use vertically throughout the hair. For volume at the roots, use horizontally at the crown.

Left my hair silky and shiny
I really liked how the this product worked! I've tried a few blow dry round brushes and this is my favorite by far. It left my hair shiny and silky with little to no frizz. It didn't feel like it was tugging on my hair at all, like other round blow dry brushes have.

The bane of my existence
I write this in anguish and agony, this product ruined my life. I'm a 17 year old girl and my hair is gone I thoroughly followed all instructions yet over the course of a few months all of my long luscious blonde hair was ripped from my scalp. I wouldn't wish this product on my worst enemy

Works well at highest
For reference - I have wavy/frizzy hair. Pros: Compared to regular dryer and round brush - using halfshot at the highest setting leaves my hair looking and feeling way shinier and healthier with way less frizz. Takes about half the time to dry taht it would take with my 1800 watt dryer and Round Brush. Cons My hair is medium length and I dont feel like even the halfshot offers the volume that I need. Any setting other than the highest setting leaves my hair feeling frizzy/dry.
Not worth it IMHO
I initially bought the larger size but although my hair is long and somewhat wavy - I dont have thick hair and need volume. The larger size I felt left my hair feeling flat. So I bought the half barrel thinking that might do the trick but nope. Same difference. and I feel like it sucks the moisture out of my hair compared to just using my round brush and blow dryer. It just looks dryer using this product and I dont see the benefit other than it really does dry very fast. Still that doesnt make it worth it to me.
Don't waste your money
Bought this brush thinking I was paying for quality. Yeah right… Honestly i was better off sticking to my older lower cost brush never had any issues. It shuts off randomly. The highest setting gets so hot basically frying your hair. Im so scared to use this setting. The lowest setting has minimal air flow. Youll never finish styling your hair Honestly dont waste your money look at other options

used maybe 3 times it over heated started smoking and died. it doesnt work and drybar wont respond to warrenty claims.
Perfect Blowout
I absolutely love this! My hair has never looked better whenever I use this and it's perfect for "swooping" my curtain bangs out of my face. I have a couple frustrations: I wish the yellow tip were longer to hold on to and it gets hot quickly.
