[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I recently tried Fenty Beauty's Grip Trip Mattifying + Blurring Primer, and I'd say my experience was a bit of a hit and miss. On the plus side, the formula really does deliver on its promise of mattifying the skin and minimizing the look of pores, giving me a smooth, filtered finish that helped my makeup stay put. It feels lightweight and comfortable, not too heavy or sticky under foundation. However, I also noticed a few drawbacks. The grip didn't quite live up to the hype — while my makeup lasted longer than usual, I didn't see the full 12-hour "locked in" claim. And although it's marketed as non-drying, I still found it a bit too mattifying for my normal/combination skin — some spots felt slightly tight after hours.
