I ordered this product by mistake because I thought I was ordering the Ginzing daily moisturizer with SPF 30 (which I use regularly). The subject product left my brown skin looking very ashy and unnatural. Who is this product made for? And just after I received the product, which was not delivered for weeks due to delays, Origins just started offering a few different shades. Which I am not inclined to try... I ordered 2 of these duds that I can't use and they are expensive. It was a waste of money.

The Origins Tinted Moisturizer has been my go to product for the past couple of weeks. The moisturizer is very lightweight and it does not feel heavy on your skin. It also does leave any residue. I usually apply a bit in the morning and by the afternoon it is still there. Also I think it smells great!

I was honestly a bit skeptical when I first received this in the mail because of how orange it looked, but it surprisingly blended fairly well. It didn't leave my skin looking greasy either and it's very lightweight. I received this product for free from Origins for testing and review purposes.

This is a surprising product, in a good way! It's a tinted moisturizer, and to me that would mean that it has some color in it, right? Well first it does look like straight spf, but then it kind of blends into your skin like a foundation. I love it, however as someone with acne, it does like a little help but also kind of emphasizes the texture of my skin. So I've had to put a little foundation to cover it, and I can't wear it wi the out foundation because my pimples be pimpling lol. That's the only caveat. But it's a really innovative idea and I love it otherwise! I received this product for free from Origins for testing and review purposes.

The description says it's tinted spf cream but a recent reviewer says it's white. Does it change color when applied, or stay white?

What you’re seeing in the photo is exactly how it behaves - the formula comes out as an off-white cream, then transforms as you blend it in into a sheer, skin-like tint. So while it may look white at first (which can be due to SPF ingredients like zinc oxide and titanium dioxide that naturally appear white ), it doesn’t stay that way - the tint activates and adapts once applied, giving a natural, even-toned finish rather than a white cast. The Ginzing spf 40 energy-boosting tinted moisturizer has Octinoxate 7.5%, Octisalate 2.0%, Octocrylene 2.0%, Titanium Dioxide 3.0%, Zinc Oxide 3.0% are listed as ingredients. Only zinc oxide and titanium oxide are mineral sunscreen, while Octinoxate, Octisalate, and Octocrylene are chemical sunscreen. Isn't Origins an all-natural line of skincare? Why is it using chemical sunscreen?
