These makeup wipes are the wipes I have found that don't burn my eyes when using them to take off my mascara. Usually my eyes get really irritated when I use makeup wipes.

This was my first time trying Cetaphil wipes after hearing so many good things about the brand. I needed a replacement for my usual wipes, so I gave these a shot. They are just okay.. The main reason I won't be repurchasing is the texture. The packaging claims these are "Ultra Soft" and "Gentle," but I found that's really not the case and package can be misleading because the wipe itself feels very rough on my skin almost like it's a little exfoliating, which is not what I want. I prefer something much smoother and gentler. On the plus side, the material is thick and doesn't rip, and there is no scent. I also appreciated that it didn't leave a greasy film or much residue behind compared to other brands I've tried. It did a good job taking off my makeup and most of my mascara. However, because the wipe feels rough, I was nervous about rubbing my eyelids too hard. I don't want to cause extra wrinkles or lose eyelashes just to get my eye makeup off. If you have very tough skin you might like these, but for me, they just aren't soft enough.
