While the primary mission of the Frizz Dismiss Sulfate-Free Shampoo is to gently cleanse while fighting frizz and humidity, it does also provide a great foundation for detangling. Because the formula is infused with Babassu Oil, it helps to smooth the hair cuticle right in the shower, which reduces the friction between strands that usually causes tangles. This 'smoothing' action makes the hair much more manageable and easier to comb through once you apply your conditioner.
