Depending on the thickness of your hair, squeeze a quarter-sized amount or more into your palm. Apply to wet hair, massaging into the scalp to create a rich lather. Add more shampoo if necessary. Rinse thoroughly and repeat if needed.

I began using Kristin Ess shampoo because it is fragrance free, but love the way it cleans my hair and scalp and makes my thin hair feel much fuller. I recommended it to my Father because he was having itchy bumps on his scalp and since he has been using, his scalp is much improved. We will never use anything else, and Ulta has the best price and they send it to me via FedEx, so its here quickly.
Finally a sulfate-free shampoo for oily hair

I have oily hair and have to use dry shampoo every day. I have been on the lookout for a sulfate-free shampoo because I will be dyeing my hair, and sulfate-free shampoos don't strip the color as fast. However, EVERY sulfate-free shampoo that I have tried has left my hair SO greasy/waxy/unclean. This is the only sulfate-free shampoo that has actually cleaned my hair! The shampoo lathers well, although I have to use a lot and really massage it into my head to get it to lather. I am fine with using a lot, as the price point is much lower than other brands whose sulfate-free products have not worked for me. This might just be my new holy grail shampoo!
Great but contains stripping ingredient
Resolved my scalp discomfort and made my fine wavy hair look amazing, but the c14-16 sulfonate caused breakage (same as other shampoos with this ingredient). I've shifted to only using it if I've used silicone stylers or have build up and even then have to shampoo carefully. I wish they'd reformulate to make it gentler.
The best fragrance free shampoo!
This is by far the best fragrance free shampoo I've used. I have tried lots of other brands like Ouidad and Curlsmith but keep going back to this. It lathers well without drying my hair or leaving a residue. I have relatively normal to thin 3B-3C high porosity hair.

This is the best fragrance free shampoo I've ever used. I pray they never discontinue. I have a fragrance allergy and I get compliments on my hair all the time. Its so shiny and healthy.
