I have 3a curls and this shampoo is just okay for them. It did smell super good. Like a beachy smell. It wasn't super sudsy and that's not necessarily a bad thing. I love that it's sls free. I think it could have been a little more moisturizing especially since its for curly hair.

This shampoo feel very nourishing and adds moisture to your hair while shampooing. The scent is really lovely with a warm, vanilla spice scent. It did not leave my hair feeling dry or squeaky and helped with tangles even prior to conditioner.
Please never stop making this line!
My daughter's hair is wavy/curly at the ends. I have tried every curl line they have at Ulta, and several that are only available elsewhere, and nothing has ever really been great for her. Some left her hair dry, some made it frizzy, some weighed it down. I passed this up the first time I saw it because I figured it would be like anything else I've tried, and I'd just end up tossing it in the trash after a few uses. But then I saw it again and had a gift card to use so I got it. Oh my goodness, this stuff is perfect! It leaves her hair clean but soft and moisturized, easy to detangle, and her curls look so pretty and defined without weigh down. Now I have anxiety that this will someday be unavailable and I don't know what I'd do! It's taken years to find the right thing and this line is perfect! We use the shampoo, conditioner, and serum and the results are just perfect.
