Trying to love this
It looked gorgeous in the many reels that popped up on my feed promoting this eyeshadow and I was very excited to purchase it! While it does look nice in the right lighting, its hard to feel as excited about it due to the fact that whenever I swirl it on my eyes and apply to my eyelids, it just does...

Packaging is just fine
Not sure why so many people are complaining about packaging when the actual product, the thing that most people will see and notice, is just great! Super glittery without being gritty and gross feeling and the color is subtle and pretty but would probably look more pigmented ontop of a darker shadow. The packaging is an obvious attempt at creating something sustainable and better for the environment, which I think is a really wonderful and I wish more companies would take notes from it. While the price can be a bit daunting for a single shadow, the quality is quite nice and I fully support the effort towards sustainability with the biodegradable packaging.
Not impressed.
At first I couldn't believe how cheap the packaging is. Then I tried it out and was very disappointed in how bad the shadow went on. It barely went on my lids and the glitter made it even harder to control the application of it. I really can't get past how bad the packaging is though! It reminds me of the material a fast food sandwich comes in. I appreciate the "green" aspects of it, but I still can't get past it how flimsy and cheap feeling it is.
Not a fan of this eyeshadow
I didn't care for the color. It really didn't stay on for very long. It was hard to see the color on the packaging. I'm glad it was on sale because I would not pay regular price for this product.
The packaging needs TLC
I was optimistic about trying a new product but the packaging is terrible. It's not only the look, but the feel, texture and sound it makes when you open/close the clam. I am bummed out!
I never write reviews but this is amazing
I don't think I've ever written a review for a beauty product, but I bought this on a whim thinking it looked fun. I'm not usually a "fun" makeup person, and I usually avoid glitter because I hate when it gets everywhere you didn't want it to. This thing literally is half magic because not only was it so stunning on my eyelids, it didn't transfer a fleck anywhere else on my face! It also washed off perfectly. Swamp Goddess is stunning on hazel eyes. I'll probably buy other shades in the future! The packaging is def a little odd to get used to at first, but the compostable nature makes it worth it.
