Great for curls
I got this because I was looking for something extra nourishing and smoothing for the ends of my hair, and I wasn't expecting literally anything else from it. I am on my third bottle now. It does what I wanted it to, but it has impressed me in two other ways. It has a light smell that doesn't trigger or worsen my chronic migraines, but I also find that if I rub this into my scalp when using it, the minty feeling helps relieve some tension. I haven't experienced this with any other "minty" or tension-relieving products. I have dry, curly hair and I dont like the feeling of a lot of stuff in my hair, so its hard to find a balance sometimes. I didn't look into this product beyond it being good for my specific use case, so I don't know if it's supposed to be a bond building mask, but it makes my curls tighter, more defined, and super shiny while still being incredibly lightweight. I have tried Olaplex, K18, and CurlSmith bonding products, and I like this better than anything else I have tried. My styling holds up significantly longer for an entire wash or two after I use it. The only drawback, which is entirely situational, is that I have to use a TON of it to feel like my hair is being properly conditioned, which means I have to repurchase pretty often. Honestly though, with how good it is, I am willing to take that L.
