Ideal For Blow Outs and Flat Ironing For A Silk Press
I like that this serum has one of my favorite ingredients in it: Castor Oil. Castor oil is great for hair. I've tried this serum on my natural curly 4a/3c hair and I used it on my hair to do a blow out and flat ironing style. I feel like this serum is ideal for using for a blow out and flat ironi...

only good as a pre shampoo treatment
For reference I have dyed (red) long fine hair that is full. So I bought this to try because it has bond repair properties and I was excited until I tried it for the first time on dry hair. The oil itself is a gel like texture that when it dry it feels coated and weighed down my hair which usually ...

Not for Fine Hair
If you have fine hair, I would sit this one out. I wanted to like this but it was very gloopy and sticky and weighed my hair down more than anything else.
Stinky, doesn't work
Smells and feels like hand sanitizer
A confusing product
I'm so confused by this serum. I'm a chemistry nerd, and the ingredients are solid as far as a cheap bonding treatment goes, which I love. It feels fine in your hands, like a normal hair serum, thicker than an oil. But it makes my hair SO dry and I can't figure out why. When it's in my hands it feels nice, but the second I put it on my hair, it looks fried. I have to put another serum over it to actually make my hair moisturized and silky looking. Maybe that's the point? Maybe it's only meant to be used for hair health, not to make your hair look nice? I don't know. I think L'Oreal needs to go back to the lab on this one. It also does have a strong chemical-y smell which doesn't bother me but for sure would bother anyone that's sensitive to smells.
Drying
Too much alcohol dries my hair out bad
Smells bad
I disliked the smell of this product, smelled very chemically. Additionally, it didnt do anything for my hair, made it feel as though it was coated and kind of greasy. Definitely not soft. I love loreal products but this one i wouldnt recommend.
