Why do you continue to discontinue your products? It has become very difficult to continue to be a loyal customer after 30 years when every product I use is no longer available when I go to replace it. It has gotten ridiculous. This is NOT Instant Perfector. Quit creating products only to take them away. Obviously your customers are getting fed up. There are one after another complaining about this, yet another new, replacement for something that didn't need to be replaced.

Is this primer supposed to ball up on my face when applying?

Be sure to apply in a thin layer, to clean, exfoliated and moisturized skin. Smooth over face before makeup or wear it alone. Please bring back instant perfector. There is no other pore filler that works as well. Need it back. This does nothing for my enlarged pores

This does not work nearly as well as the old Pore Refiner. It melts off quickly and does not cover pores well at all. What is wrong with it? Is there a trick to it. Why they discontinued the other is beyond me.

Annoyingly hard to distribute, i have to massage it in a lot more than other primers that just melt in. When I try to massage it in I notice clumps that just roll around on top of my skin. Eventually I smooth them out but it makes me feel like the primer is not getting distributed evenly. I haven't ...

It's like paste. Felt good on my hand when sampling, however could not get it to spread on my face.
Not worth the cost, balls up on skin...
...even when used after consult with Ulta instruction AND being experienced with applying certain products. They were applied in order, allowing the skin and product to settle before applying next application of foundation or blusher.

I love Clinique, and was excited to try this, I have large pores and oily skin. This stuff just does not agree with any sort of lotion, serum, foundation - any other beauty product - or even alone! It comes out of the tube nicely, but then immediately chunks up on your skin - removing any lotion or product you had underneath (even other clique products and even after you let the products set for 10+ mins). Forget trying to apply any products over top, even after settling, it will pill. I was in a rush once and rinsed my face with water then tried applying just this product - no bueno. It was chunky and uneven, leaving splotchy pilly spots all over my face. Had to rewash and start over. Throwing in the trash sadly.

Use it as an eye primer
I used to always get this as a sample and for some reason I never used it for what it said. (Probably because it was sample sized so I used it for a small area of my face. But even that still lasted a long time.) I used it on my eye lids including the crease and omg it worked amazing for my oily eyelids. So I recommend for that specific reason.
