ESTEE LAUDER Double Wear Matte Powder Veil Shade: Translucent Medium Offers a lightweight subtle matte finish without looking or feeling like you are wearing makeup. This powder is definitely for me!! I am not a huge foundation wearer other than powder. Well, let me say… I wear this and love the results, I'm normally not a fan or should I say, my skin is not a fan of the way most foundations make my skin feel & look. This powder goes on so light but gives great color and coverage. The Translucent Double Wear Matte Powder Veil effortlessly covers & blends uneven skin tone & imperfections with a blurring tinted color that also controls shine. I found that I didn't need to do any touchups during the day. My skin did not become oily and the matte finish stayed looking light and shine free. The compact comes with a mirror inside along with a powder puff applicator. This is the Perfect Matte Veil Powder to add to your makeup arsenal or toss in your purse so you always have it on hand. I added this product to my daily makeup routine. The packaging was great. I was really excited to use the "translucent" powder, but the applicator included did not make the powder as translucent as I anticipated. The product may work better with foundation specifically formulated by Estee Lauder, but did not pair well with Tom Ford (in my experience). The product was long lasting and worked better when applied with a brush in lieu of the puff it came with. This product was amazing at oil control too. This powder is ultra fine milled silky and dreamy. Glides on like a dream, with puff or brush. Helps blur small blemishes and does not settle into fine lines like a lot of other powders. Does not end up cakey or creasing. No real smell, Color match is excellent! Stayed put on me all day long with no need to reapply.
