Defy Damage Shampoo and Conditioner

For starters my hair is shoulder length (slightly longer), thin, and very fine. I am naturally brunette, but I get blonde foils put in. My ends appear dry whereas my scalp can be oily at times. I was lost in a loop of trying different shampoos and conditioners because nothing was making me satisfie...d. They made my hair too greasy, too dry, or straight up just unmanageable. It was getting so bad that I was actually becoming irate over this. Where my hair is so fine, if I don't act strategically, I have to reap from the poor decisions for a long time until my hair can recover. I decided to buy the large Joico shampoo and conditioner and figured I can usually tell after several uses if I like something, and if I don't, I'll take it back to my local Ulta to swap for something else. First thing I noticed when using the shampoo is it takes VERY LITTLE product and develops a very luxurious lather. To me, this is a huge plus because I feel like with cheap products you have to use half the bottle. Second thing I noticed was the smell. It does have a "salon" type smell to it, if that makes sense, but it is not overwhelming and is very faint once rinsed thoroughly. Once I shampooed, I put the conditioner on my ends, and what is left on my hands toward my scalp. I let this sit while I do the rest of my shower routine. At the end of my shower, I rinse. Making sure I always thoroughly rinse the conditioner out because this can cause heaviness that people blame on the product instead of their poor rinsing skills. I immediately notice that my hair had an amazing hydrated feel to it. As my hair was air drying, there was no frizz to it what so ever. It had a very sleek feel to it. Once my hair was completely dry, it felt like silk. My ends and my roots felt like they were equally as healthy. Now this was a huge deal to me, but when I woke up the next morning, what is normally really bad frizz on back of my head from sleeping, I had ZERO bed head. Obviously this will range from person to person, but needless to say, I am in love with the overall experience with this shampoo and conditioner set. My frustration is officially gone and I can breathe easily knowing my hair is in good hands and no longer being compromised by other brands.
