you just need this in your life! the consistency is so light weight. It's not tacky at all! it smells amazing! when my hair dries it gives it so much definition with the Curl Talk Gel! literally the best combo. of course apply as much as your hair needs but this is amazing!
After washing my hair with shampoo and conditioner, I rewet my hair and put in a leave-in conditioner leaving my hair feeling soft and moisturized as it should, but as soon as I applied this product my hair instantly became dry and sucked the moisture out. (Before applying this product, my hair was heavily saturated with water, to the point some drops were coming out of the section.) I thought it was a bit weird but assumed it was because I recently dyed my hair, and sprayed some more water on my hair as well as conditioner, but it wasn't enough as my hair stayed feeling this way and my hair ending up airdrying dehydrated and it became frizzy as well. This product did nothing but dry my hair out.
I had already washed my hair once since dying my hair using a different styling product and I had great results, with my hair feeling moisturized and not dry at all. I've always used thick styling creams like Cantu's Coconut Curling Cream which has worked great for me, but I thought I'd try something more lightweight and after seeing curly hair YouTubers review and speak highly of the entire Curl Talk line, I decided to get this product. This is one of the worst results I've had and although I wish it worked for me because I love the packaging, I don't think I'll be using it again. For anyone wondering what the consistency is like, it looks and feels like Elmer's Glue.

I like the Kinky Moves cream to enhance my fine, porous waves/curls, but I was looking for something that didn't require starting with soaking wet hair.
This did not tame frizz or coax out curl. It did add a little definition without crunchiness, but since it wasn't curl enhancing for me, my hair just looked stringy.

I have thin 3a-3b low porosity hair. I recommend using this after a leave in and with a gel for more hold. Alone, it doesn't do much, but it does help to clump the curls and it's an easy product to use because it's not so thick that you have to worry about creating too much build up. This product also isn't the best for volume; it's more of a natural curly look. I also like to use this if I'm styling relatively clean hair and need some protein instead of moisture. I find the fragrance in NYM products to be too strong and it definitely triggers my allergies, but it doesn't bother me throughout the day.

I tried it a couple of times but it made my high porosity transitioning curls stringy.

THE PRODUCT OF THIS LINE ARE VERY GOOD I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM BUT BUYIN IN ANOTHER PLACE ULTA ITS JUST THE WORST. THEY WORK WITH A CHEAP IIRESPONSABLE DELIVER SERVICES WHO LEFT PACKAGES WHEREVER AND NO REFUND OR SEND BACK FOR WHAT YOU PAID.

Honestly I've been using this cream since it came out and I haven't had a bad hair day since. It has a little bit of hold to it but honestly I pair it under a gel to get the best results. I leaves my hair moisturized but not weighted down and makes it extra shinny! For refreshing days I mix it in a spray bottle with water spray it in my palms rub it and then coat in on eat curl that needs touched up! I will keep purchasing it, it is very comparable to the curl smith hold me softly balm just a little smoother texture and thinner

I use a light hair serum, then a thicker curl cream, then this (which keeps my curls tame like a medium hold gel) and it's my holy grail routine!

Product works well for price. Really brought out my curls and kept them moisturized. Not the best smell but still appealing.

I'm in desperate need of a trim and this product made me last a little longer. Helped hydrate my split ends. Pleasantly surprised with product.

I love how it keeps my curls smooth and how it keeps my curls from coming undone and it is easy to use this product and I have nothing bad to say about this product

It's a nice texture for fine hair. It's not too heavy.

I use this following a leave in conditioner on damp hair. My hair is long but not super thick and I use about a healthy dollop.

This is the best curl product I've tried in years! This will be my go to from now on….not super expensive and my curls have definition, but no stickiness! Love love love!

I love this cream paired with the mousse! its affordable and keeps hold on my curls. I also cocktail with a serum after diffusing to break the cast from the mousse and my hair is so soft afterwards.

I've used this a few times over the years when I had no other choice. Tried to make it work. Used it alone, with other products, small amount, large amount, same end result. Frizzy, poofy hair.

I was honestly surprised how well this product works. It's like a perfect cream gel. It gives me perfect bouncy curls that look hydrated and defined all day. Just makes my hair look natural and healthy with out any frizz. I love it!

Just bought this product to define my wavy/curly hair and it didn't work at all. Hair looked awful.

I used this on semi towel-dried hair. it says use a small amount but i have thick 3a curly hair so I needed to get it wet again and put more in. My curls weren't defined in any way, it just cut down on frizz.
If I were to use this again, it would be with other curl defining products. I would give 2-3 stars. Eh.

Of all my reg brands it's been the best curl cream for styling with hold as the main priority, followed by definition, then weight/volume. I have very dense butt length 2c-3a type, & years of blowing+brushing out my pattern has made it more of a 2B wave that I'm trying to correct. After detangling I apply a gel, scrunch cream on top, & plop. normally diffuse last, but this cream gives me the option to air dry w/o scalp issue or losing all volume. Best definition, shine bounce, hold, & 2+3 day refresh using cream. Least weight, grease, buildup or drying out. Not for the frizz focused. Drier, coarser+frizzier curls will prob. prefer NYM Kinky Moves cream(which I also enjoyed b4 my length made weight/elongation a problem.)
Have not myself had product cocktailing issues or flaking as others.

I have 3A hair and I never knew how to take care of it so I got this along with other items and when I got out of the shower I will apply this to my damp hair and it would make my 3A frizzy hair go into beautiful and luscious curls.

Title speaks for itself. Disappointed in this product.

I have fine to medium-textured 3b/3c curls and unfortunately, this product dried my hair out. I like the Tahitian Gardenia line, but this line hasn't been great for my hair.
Di from NY
I really wanted to like this, but the smell is kinda funky/headache inducing. It also made my scalp feel itchy by day two. Def not my favorite. It also doesn't play well with other products.

Daily on wet curls to air dry is the best

Although I have some curl definition, my hair feels dry and didn't help with frizz (at least for me). I have 3b/c, fine medium length hair. Kind of disappointed because I saw alot of good reviews on this and didn't want to go back to gels (they give shine but I am not looking for a cast). Back to the drawing board
