To refresh 2nd, 3rd (and beyond) hair, we recommend spraying onto dry hair. Focus application on ends and work your way up - go light at first and see how much product works best for your hair type. Then gently scrunch through to refresh and re-define curls. You may find that by 3rd or 4th day, the hair is needing a little more help. Adding a few sprays of water is a great way to refresh the product already in the hair without adding more product to the hair. So I had straight hair my whole life until I gave birth. After that, my hair was wavy. I was in denial about that for some time and still tried to style it straight, but finally broke down and tried to figure out wavy hair. I'm so glad I found this reactivator spray! I'm the type who always washed my hair every day because it always looked bad when I woke up in the morning. This spray cream really saves the day. I can use it and then scrunch my hair up and then it looks just as good as the day before on wash day. It leaves my hair soft and not sticky or gummy. It also smells really good. Really a win-win! I used this product in the morning before I went and hung out with some friends, I will say this is some of the best curl rejuvenating spray I have ever used, during winter my hair gets so frizzy due to the dry hair and with this I didn't have any frizzy hair, I love the scent of it smells like I just got it done at the salon, I also noticed that my curls are more bouncy and refined whenever I use it. I used this product like 4-5 times over two weeks. My hair is 2C and has always been tricky with oily roots, dry ends, and waves that can't decide if they want to be curls or not. I was excited to try this because I hoped it would moisturize my ends while boosting my curl pattern. First impression: the smell is amazing!!!!! I LOVE when my hair smells good, so that was a big plus. The smell alone is why I'm trying so hard to figure it out haha. It's also easy to apply, just spray and style. My first use didn't go how I expected. I didn't realize it would act like a gel or hairspray. After towel drying my hair until it was slightly damp, I sprayed it generously while scrunching it up. Within 10-15 minutes, my hair felt crunchy, stiff, and honestly pretty gross. I was disappointed and ended up doing the curly girl bowl method to rinse some out, which helped a bit. The next day after work i decided to try brushing it out and it ended up making my hair huge and fluffy, and not in a good way. On my next attempt, I used much less product on very wet hair, and then threw it up into my towel for an hour or two and then I just went to bed with my hair down. Sleeping on it seemed to break any cast, and the results were actually great. I woke up with real, defined curls!! Since then, it's been a hit or miss depending on how I apply it, but when it works, it really truly works!! Overall, it's not something I'll use daily, but I'm continuing to experiment to figure out the best method for my hair.
