Almost but just not quite!
Although it smells great, has good ingredients, and provides a very nice shine; the definiton and hold is subpar and just not quite what it should be for people with textured hair. I have 3c (slightly 4a) high porosity hair and it goes on well when its wet, but as it dries there's a bit of frizz and it worsens if you touch it, rest your head on any surface, or even temporarily put it up in a pineapple/ponytail. Also noticed that my hair was never quite dry and often felt greasy/sticky. Innersense has a gel with similar ingredients but much better results.

Love this jelly (and the Camille Rose brand overall)! :) It is very silky and was easy to apply. I live in a humid area, and this (with the Camille Rose coconut water leave-in underneath) made my curls last for a good long while and beautifully defined! It's concentrated and a chunky bottle, so a little goes a long way. Very minor cons: This works best with wet hair, or otherwise, it gets a bit sticky. I also didn't love the smell as much as I did with the other CR products. Overall, this jelly was great for my hair, can last for a while, and gave great definition to my curls. Highly recommend! :D

I've been using this gel with the Camille Rose Coconut Water Leave-In, and my curls came out great! A soft jelly, but on that still had a good hold. I live in humid climate, and it did really good! Gave a bit of shine as well. It is very concentrated for my fine hair, so a little with some water goes a long way, and the bottle lasted me for multiple months. :) The only con: The smell is kind of a lemon-y(?) kind of sour smell, so not my favorite smell of the Camille Rose line. (Their other products like the CR Algae Deep Conditioner, CR Moisture Milk, CR Coconut Leave-In, Conditioner, etc, usually smell more sweet, and some smell like cupcake batter or fruity cereal.)

The product does a great job at defining my curls and the curls will stay popping for days. But after the product dries completely in my hair it causes the WORST jelly build up that makes my hair look gross. Ive tried on multiple occasions and get the same result each time.
This is the holy grail gel for curly girls
