Devil's Advocate & Missed Shift
I purchased two colors recently (Missed Shift & Devil's Advocate) and have mixed feelings. I love the fast drying formula of both, Devil's Advocate in particular is opaque in two coats and the most gorgeous, deep oxblood red with a vinyl like shine that looks black in certain lighting. Unfortunately that is where my praise for it stops - no matter how I prep my nails I cannot get this color to stop peeling off in sheets within 12 hours of applying it. I have tried different base coats and different top coats and it still comes off completely. Missed Shift does not have this problem, but while I find the color beautiful, it takes at least three coats before it is completely opaque in bright lighting and I had chipping on two nails the next day. I get better longevity out of the Sally Hansen Insta Dry line which is considerably cheaper, so I don't see myself buying from Holo Taco again.
Horrible consistency
Strange, goopy consistency; extremely difficult to apply it evenly. I am returning it and definitely won't be buying this brand again. Worst nail polish I've ever used.
not overly impressed
I bought two Holo Taco polishes on sale and while the colors are nice, I have to say that for the price, I'm not impressed with these at all. Twice now I've painted my nails in the past week alone, using both a base coat AND a China Glaze topper, and both times my nails have chipped within 1-2 days. I've always heard Holo Taco is supposed to be a great brand, and I wanted to treat myself to some nicer polishes because I usually don't, but even with the sale price I can't say I'd buy Holo Taco again.

Never heard of the brand but thought I would try it . Color great . Smart decision . Several people made comments how nice color was and so easy to put on
