Doesn't work on my 2b hair
Ugh I wanted to love this product. Maybe I didnt use it right but it left my hair crunchy. I even used a hair oil after and it was still pretty stiff. Just seemed too heavy for my fine, wavy 2b hair. So my search for a good product continues.
My New Favorite
I bought this air dry cream cause I always air dry my hair. Its long and thick, but straight with some waviness, and i wasn't sure how this product would work out. After using, I fell in love! Absolutely amazing product. My hair is sleek and smooth but not weighted down or oily, the frizz is tame, and I now I have the sexiest, sleekest ponytail. My new favorite hair product.
Not compatible with 2c thin hair
If this is supposed to be an all in one - it absolutely fails in that category. I can see this as a curl cream that you would then need to add some gel to perhaps? But it just does not seem to have the ooomph that a combo of cream and gel would have. The biggest issue is the scent. I fully understand that curly girls have to put up with so many smells, but this just smells like fabric softener/laundry detergent in the worst way. I got a migraine it was so strong.
Works great for fine wavy hair!
Hair Type Wavy Hair
I am always looking for a wave enhancing, air dry product. I've tried so many and this is one of my top choices. It gives just enough hold to define waves without being sticky. It adds shine and separation and controls frizz. It doesn't weigh down your hair or look greasy. This is a great go-to for low maintenance, beachy hair. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the smell is a little strong and lingers in my hair. I have asthma & allergies so scents can be an issue.
Heavy weight for wavy hair
As someone with 2b/2c wavy hair this basically turned them non existent since the cream was dampening them. Even clarify shampooed my hair beforehand to give it a fair shot. Worked wonders for my frizz tho, but cant continue since i look a mess due to limpy waves. This did work well on my friend with 3c curls so i guess not a bad product per se. Product is good but they just need to stop with marketing this as a universal cream that's just predatory at this point
