how do these stick in the hair ?
Asked by meridolly snuggles
Verified Reply - Brand ExpertHello Meridolly, The rollers do NOT stick in the hair. You have to roll them around your hair and the unit comes with "20 color-coded stainless steel clips - store inside the setter". You use the clips to hold the rollers in while curling your hair. Since I use a flat iron at 400° to strighted my hair, I have found some hot rollers to cool to curl my hair. While I don't expect the hot rollers to be THAT hot (I couldn't touch them). I'm just wondering if you think these would work for me. I only plan on using them on the top layer to create some long loose curls.

5+ years using Conair Compact Hairsetter

I have been using Conair's Compact Hairsetter rollers for more than 5 years. It could actually be closer to 10 years. They work GREAT with my hair which is fine, wavy to curly, depending on length. At this time my hair is long and extremely wavy. The way I use them is, the smallest rollers aro...

Maybe better for those with short hair

This product is adorable with beautiful shades of blue, but I thought that it took a long time to heat up. When I finally got all of my hair in the rollers, I thought they were a little heavy. Even though I had pretreated hair with curl cream, the hair just didn't keep the curl, though I think it ...

Good Rollers

I like that these have teeth that smooth my hair as I put them in. They always leave me with bouncy waves. I bought these to replace a past generarion of these that I bought 8 years ago. The old set never stopped working but the plastic melted and deteriorated over time. These are solid reliable rollers. I did take away a star because the pins are useless. I reccomend buying clips to hold the rollers in your hair.

Great Set

Okay. So this set is deceiving. Meaning it feels like they are not hot enough to do any added curl, and they don't burn your hands. I thought they are going back if they don't add any volume or curl. WRONG! I was quite pleasantly surprised. Lotsa curl, volume and no burnt fingers, scalp. It's a win. I have another set that are so hot I need gloves to roll my hair. Jk These are a keeper. I have long fine hair. Not sure if these would work on thicker hair? If you do purchase you may need 2-3 sets? I recommend a setting spray or volume spray before you roll as well.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

Love these rollers!!

I love these hot rollers! I absolutely love the volume it gave my hair. I was skeptical because I thought they would not curl my long hair. My hair is heavy and all one length with no layers, but I was amazed at the curls and volume it gave. I love the size, perfect for traveling. Fits in my luggage without taking so much space. Definitely recommend

I'm a "wake and fluff" hairstyle girlie, but when I have an event to attend, I love a nice head of bouncy curls. This set was easy to use and heated up fast - I was set & ready to go within no time. The curls were perfect (I used a little bit of styling product so my thinner hair would hold the curl longer). The set is small enough that it doesn't take up too much room on the counter and is easy enough for even me to use. LOVED it!

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend
