Pleasantly surprising

I'm new to the hair styling brush world - I currently use a Shark Hyperair dryer with the brush-like attachment, and didn't think much would surpass it. My bar was set low for this product, but after the 2nd use (1st wasn't great, to be honest), I was pretty surprised by the outcome. I did half my h...

Poor product design holds back the potential.

So there are a few good things I can say about this product. The concept itself is great, but the product design interferes with what the product can do. For instance, the ion technology does work incredibly well; I can use it on my hair to refresh it and make my hair look very nice and rejuvenated....

Horrible

I read a great review how someone upgraded from the revlon blow out brush to this product, and all their hopes and dreams came true. Let me tell you how horrible this product is. Let me tell you how this product is WORSE than the revlon one. This product is the only tool that does not have a bristle or comb completely around it. Dont be fooled by the pictures on the box. The large, flat parts have a hard, unflexable, plastic. When you use this, you literally can't blow out your hair. You cant curl it or twirl it because the har literally cant pass through these hard plastic parts. And if you try - you're literally ripping your hair out. I was able to use this to straighten my hair, which looked nice, but literally isn't a blow out. I literaly used this product once, on both the wet and dry setting. The dry setting is recommended for touch ups. I still couldnt use this even at that setting to put any kind of volume or curl in my hair. I returned this product.

I have been struggling with damaged, frizzy fine hair. I have spent hundreds on tools and products. Nothing worked. Until this! My hair is so shiny and smooth! I cant believe how well it works. Before buying, I read a review where someone made the comment, "Where has this been my whole life?" I had to see for myself. I am so glad I did. I would buy a dozen more!

I honestly enjoy round brush dryers, but the bristles on this one by Conair just would not grab my hair! And no matter how much hair oil I used, the frizz afterwards was outrageous. I even tried it on my eldest daughter, who has thicker hair strands and it made her hair frizzy as well! I will say it's a lot lighter to hold than others I've tried.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

Works pretty good

I purchased this to replace the one I was using because the brush bristles started to fall out and it tended to pull at my hair. This one doesn't pull as much. I don't notice much of a difference when I change from wet to dry mode. Warm air still blows from it. It's a little bulky to hold, I've almost dropped it a couple times. It gets the job down.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

I had been on the search for a new hot styling tool, as my revlon styler was getting old and drying out my hair. I did a lot of research on these and the conair checked all the boxes. My hair is half way down my back and very thick, i have some natural wave in my hair as well and this tool works amazingly for my hair. I used my blow dryer first, then used this with my slightly damp hair and it gave me a smooth sleek blowout with volume !! I also love the not wet mode, which is great for refrrshing my blowout on days that i dont wash my hair. I went a week after washing my hair using the not wet mode & my hair remained sleek & full of volume, just like after a fresh wash. This tool isnt nearly as damaging as the revlon one, i didnt see any fallout of my hair when using this. I highly recommend this!
