I really liked this ColorStay Cr?me Eye Shadow in Honey because its so creamy. This color is not one I would normally wear on a daily basis but its so pretty I needed to see how well it looked on my skin tone. What I first noticed it has some shimmer. Though the color is honey its more of a yellow gold. I swiped it once with the brush which is included in the packaging. It goes on very light and subtle but applying more swipes, the color can become more bold and noticeable. I love this because it means I was able to wear it during the day for work but also for a night out and create a more bold look. I love that it doesn't have any fragrance to it and being one with sensitive skin it doesn't cause any skin irritation either. I like the brush it comes with but I preferred to use this eye shadow with my finger tips better. Makes it easier for me to apply.
I bought this at my local drug store. I'm sorry but I think the company needs to work on packaging. It took me 30 minutes to get the container open. I tried everything and finally had to take a knife, break the packaging, just to get it open and almost sliced my fingers in the process. I would suggest creating a package that is easier to open otherwise it takes away from the product itself. It doesn't matter how great the product is if people are frustrated just by trying to open the package. I almost ended up throwing it out because it was so frustrating to open. I'm not sure you want buyers to have that impression before even trying the product.
I would review this eye shadow, but unable to open, been trying for ages to get it open but no joy. I will be taking it back to the shop and getting my money back.
i wish I could have been able to review it but can't get it to open.
I see by Revlon's reviews, that it's not me. It's your jar that is totally impossible to open! Maybe jot directions down on the jar? I tried lifting it and twisting it to get it open, but the dang thing will not budge!
Very poorly designed.
I most likely will be taking it back to the store, unless I get an answer from Revlon.
I used to have given this 5 stars, always getting compliments while using licorice and creme brulee together with blue eyeliner, lasted all day, yet smooth and creamy to blend, however I do not know but the last I purchased was dry and crumbling and did not quite have the stay power. Might have been a bad batch. I do love the small convenient container with its own brush, especially for travel.
great eyeshadow bought praline very subtle but buildable...had to have my husband use a flat head screwdriver to open it but its a nice applicator brush and consistency of color and how it applies on ...losing a star for difficult opening of package
