Start at the base of lashes and wiggle brush up to the tip of lashes. Repeat to build. To apply to lower lashes, hold wand vertically. Do not pump brush in container-this adds air that can dry out the mascara. To prevent clumping, let mascara dry between coats. Remove with your favourite Clinique eye makeup remover.

Quality has degraded, not waterproof

This used to be my favorite mascara for years. It stayed on through anything and never smudged, even if I slept in it! Recently however, it seems as if the quality has gone way down. It barely lasts through the day and smudges SO easily, I end most days with raccoon eyes. Definitely not waterproof anymore! Has the formula changed? It feels so much cheaper, less glossy and much thinner. I'm so disappointed.

I love this mascara! It really accentuates my long eyelashes and keeps me looking fresh and perky, even when I am working hard in a cross-country meet or working it in the middle of a dance floor!
Yes I would buy this again
Clinique waterproof mascara stays on all day. It doesn't smudge but you have to go slow when applying as it tends to clump a little. Once it is on I can go about my day not worrying about my mascara.

Holy Grail
I learned about this mascara after seeing a woman with beautiful eyelashes and asking her what her secret was! I try other brands from time to time but nothing compares. I appreciate how waterproof it is, but also how easy it is to remove (unlike so many others). My Elemis cleansing balm literally erases it with no effort whatsoever. Love love love.
