Pump the foam into your hands and fully lather into DRY hair. Start with the bottom section of your hair and fully saturate the foam from ends up to your roots. Repeat as necessary to ensure even coverage and to avoid patchiness. Use the entire bottle of foam for full hair coverage. Relax for 30 minutes and allow your hair color to fully set. Rinse out your hair thoroughly with water, and then use shampoo and conditioner (like usual).

Saved my hair!
I am so thrilled with how this came out! Long background story: I'm 47 years old with fine 3c curls that had been box dyed dark brown for years to cover stubborn silvers. Now that I have a lot more silver, I decided to grow my natural hair out. I went to the salon for a gray blending but it didn't g...

A Dye that Strips Existing Color
I love having pink hair, and I'm always searching for a shade of pink that I love even more than the last. I saw Hally in Rose Gold, it said it was safe for all hair types, and thought I'd give it a shot. I got my roots lifted after dying my hair vibrant pink with another brand, then thought I'd ...

Purple and rose gold are straight up false advertising!
Bought the purple avalanche for myself and rose gold for my daughter, and it was a total waste of money. The rose gold barely deposited any color on my daughter's hair, even though it was bleached and toned prior to using. Honestly, the toner deposited more color than the foam dye did. Ended up turning her hair a light strawberry blonde color instead of the rose color advertised on the box. The purple, on the other hand…is freaking *eggplant*. Its not lilac, its not light purple. Its dark. I started with platinum hair, left it on for 15 minutes instead of the recommended 30, and my hair is now dark purple. And like, not a good dark purple, either. Don't get me wrong, I like the concept, the product was very easy to use, but now I look like crap because I expected the product to work like it shows on the box, and now I have to spend extra money (and damage my hair more) just to correct it.
Sensitive scalps beware
Scalp is irritated even a few days after using. Color is nice but unlikely to buy again.
didn't work at all
i got the rose gold one and tried it twice, followed the instructions exactly and got no results. I have light hair so it's not a problem of not showing up. It just didn't work at all.
Great turnout

I felt like I should review this since the reviews are mixed, but my experience with this was great. I have light brown hair that I used the shade "Dark Mode" on. It turned out exactly as I had hoped. It is a cool-ish toned black, but true black, not blue-black. Because it is foam and not cream or gel, I suggest being extra careful applying on areas that are close to the skin (use a cape or towel to cover the neck, and it helps to use Vaseline around the hairline/ears). It has been about 2 weeks since I used the dye, and I have not noticed fading. My hair does not feel damaged or dry. While I can't speak to how the vibrant colors turn out, I would use this again 100%.
Great product. Avalanche is darker than it Iooks.

I was a level 10 with a little bit of light pastel pink left in my hair. Mostly just from color depositing conditioner. I got the purple avalanche thinking it's going to cone out like the color on the box or close. But I literally went from light pink and blonde, to brown and purple. It came out way darker than expected. Multiple washes amd it barely fades which is what I wanted just not quite this dark. But I would recommend this product for sure. Just find the right color. That's the thing with color. I do love the shade of purple, just wasn't trying to change so drastically. I've always done purple and this is definitely one you want for minimal damage amd maximum stay.
