Why is this listed as waterproof when it's water resistant? Those things are not the same.

Will this smudge on deep set, droopy upper eyelids? Thank you.

However, if you are using a cream based eye shadow or hydrating concealer, the oil within those products may breakdown the waterproof formula and allow it to transfer. Ulta mistitled this mascara. Covergirl does NOT have a WATERPROOF version of Clump Crusher. This one is WATER-RESISTANT. Waterproof and water-resistant mean two different things. Label says "water resistant" on the tibe from in-store. It may be resistant but not waterproof. Less clumpy for sure but just not a luscious as I'd hoped.
Good everyday mascara
I was looking for a mascara for a more grungey look, this doesn't quite fit. It lengthens lightly, but does not thicken lashes. It does not clump like mentioned. Hard to apply to your bottom lashes and the brush scratches slightly when you apply pressure to bottom lashes

This is my new favorite mascara!
I have hooded eyes and can usually only wear waterproof formulas, but this water resistant one works for me, and it's easier to remove. I have lashes that are too long for my eyes (no lid space, my lashes reach to my brows) but they are mostly blonde. What I look for in a mascara is just a tint of my lashes. I don't want length, and I don't want volume. I also cannot stand clumps. This mascara separates and tints my lashes and holds the curl without clumping, smudging, smearing, or flaking. I hope this never gets discontinued because it's the first mascara I've found that is perfect on all fronts.
