Great for Beginners

I have never tried a cleansing balm like the Banila line. There are four different types of balms in the line, and currently are formulated to suit different skin concerns. I used each for 3 days. The first one, Clean It Zero Original (pink bottle), is an unscented balm that applies easily. It rem...

Love & Strongly Dislike Relationship

I have pale, dry, super sensitive skin, and easily prone to breakouts. I wear a moderate amount of makeup; it's mostly eye makeup (eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara), tinted moisturizer, and lipstick. I normally use micellar water and Target cotton rounds to remove my makeup. However, this method was lea...

Didn't feel cleansing at all

Submitted 5 days ago

By Titi

With other cleansing balms, I can feel it taking off my makeup and cleaning my face. With this, I didn't feel clean at all. It felt like I was just putting something waxy on my skin that didn't do anything.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

This is by far the best cleansing balm ever. Melts all makeup, even waterproof mascara, and wipes away effortlessly.

Nourishes and cleanses wonderfully!

I've been using the Banila Co Clean It Zero Cleansing Balm gifted by Banila Co and I'm so impressed. The texture feels like creamy at first, then melts into an oil that takes off all my makeup and sunscreen even the stubborn waterproof stuff. After rinsing, my skin feels really clean but still soft and hydrated, not stripped of natural oils like I've felt with other products. I like that it has Vitamin E and other nourishing ingredients, and the jar lasts a long time so it's a good value! The scent is sweet and smells good so it doesn't bother me. I always follow up with a gentle cleanser, and this has definitely earned a permanent spot in my routine.

I've used the another of these and loved it. Made the mistake of going to another brand to try out and ended up coming right back. I love the way it removes make up and cleanses my face without breaking me out.

soft and smooth texture

soft and smooth texture that feels gentle on the skin. A little goes a long way, making the price very fair for the amount of product you get. Most importantly, it removes all makeup effectively—even long-wear foundation and mascara—leaving the skin clean without feeling stripped.
