Broke after a year of use
I bought this straightner in 2025 and it is now completed broken and will not turn on, very sad.
Doesn't clamp firmly or evenly
Doesnt clamp evenly so its hard to get a sleek look. Hair just kind of slips through in parts and i bave course bleached hair. Do not recommend. It only clamps firmly at the tip, the entire lenght of the straightener shows daylight even when closed firmly…except for the end. Go with the Chi
Doesn't damage hair but also doesn't straighten
3 A curls are still wavy even on the hottest setting. I have to section out very tiny pieces to do my hair. At this point i only use it to fix some broken curls on my "natural" days. Id like to add that i am of mediterranean and native descent so my hair does have some kink to it. This straightener is best for girlies with almost straight hair that need low damage tools.

this is my new favorite flat iron. it doesn't snag my hair and I have minimal heat damage as a curly/coily girl, it heats up fairly quickly and my hair gets very sleek with this iron. love it. and the plates are long so you can do long sections.
