As a leave-in or finisher, apply to clean damp or dry hair and style as usual. Start with a small amount and increase as needed. To transform your conditioner into repairing masque, mix 2-3 pumps with any Alterna conditioner. Apply on wet hair and let sit for 3 minutes. Rinse.

Actually worth it
I managed to get a bottle of this off BeautyPass at one point, and was absolutely amazed. I have very very long hair, with a lot of damage, and a mix of textures. Hair oil is basically a necessity to my beauty staples. This stuff wowed me by making my dried out/dead ends look and feel soft again. Did the retail price give me sticker shock? Yes. Have I purchased like 6 more bottles out of pocket since then? Also yes. It can be a little "goopy" feeling, and any thick hair oil/pump product is a pain to work with, but the results were so amazing I still needed to keep it on the MVP list of beauty products since. I've tried a few other products from the brand and their Caviar line, but this one is honestly my favorite and the one I keep coming back for. Due to the length of my hair though, I do try to find other decent hair oils I can use so I don't burn through the entire bottle so quickly (such is the pain of upkeep on very long hair) but since I live in a building with minimal hot water, I usually do a wash/oil/braid protective style maybe twice a week or so. I'll use it here and there when there will be 3 days or so before I can next get a shower, or cut it with another hair oil to try and make it last longer, but despite how hard it eats into my budget, I still get it because I'm very protective of my long hair, and know sometimes "you get what you pay for" is valid. Except in this case it's a very positive way of using that cliche. While my hair isn't as textured or coarse as my mother's, it seems like it can pull pretty heavy duty, and doesn't make it look greasy. I think this would suit quite a wide range of hair types.

I bought this during the 21 days of beauty sale and found a new product to keep my hair looking good. I have naturally curly hair that I only wear straight. I agree you need to be careful how much of this product you apply to avoid having it be too heavy on your hair. I apply it on damp hair and my hair looks very shiny as I blow it dry. Once I flat iron with this on my hair, my hair gets really straight and stays that way until the next time I wash it. I like it so much I'm buying a 2nd bottole during the extended sale!
Leaves hair oily feeling

I was hoping this would replace the discontinued protein cream, but it is very greasy feeling and left my hair feeling oily. Tried on both wet and dry hair and hated it. Will not use it.
One pump completely changes my hair
My hair is shoulder length, wavy/curly and dries naturally frizzy. This makes it silky and so shiny. It looks so healthy even though ive highlighted my hair many times. This is the best serum ive ever used. Most days i blow dry my hair straight and it dries wuickly and feels really soft and moisturized with this product.
