The pink palette I've been looking for

As someone with green eyes, red hair, and fair skin, I'm always looking for eye shadows that will bring out my eyes but won't be too heavy, this palette is perfect for that. I have the naked 3 palette from urban decay and those colors are a little too cool toned, whereas these are more warm. The col...

As someone who loves pink, this is too much yet not enough

The swatches of this product are very misleading... this palette is much more saturated. I couldn't create a look that didn't scream "crazy lady who really really likes pink". The shade "made u blush" is an intense neon and really difficult to tone down once you already put it on. The rest of the sh...

Allergic reaction to eye lids

Submitted 9 days ago

By Jennifer

From Texas

I don't use make up often but when I do I alway grab these eye shadow palettes but I notice the last 3 times I've used them. Throughout the day I feel my eyes bothering me not itchy but I feel something bothering me. Then when I get home to take makeup off I see my lids swollen!! I used a.i. I find it what ingredients these have and I found out it has carmine a beetle-derived red pigment causing allergies like swelling and rashes in sensitive users. REAL BEETLE. I have sensory skin so I immediately stop using this and trashed it. Not recommend for any sensitive skin users.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

Wanted to like this - the colors are so great - but it was really weak on the pigment and I ended up with lots of fall/scatter (and yes, I tap my brush off like crazy before applying). Ended up tossing it after trying it for a week. I've got darker eyes and skin, though, so maybe it would have been ok for someone more fair.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend
