Spray into dry hair for volume and a firm, all day hold. Pick up hair and spray at the root for extra volume.
Precautions: Flammable Aerosol. Pressurized Container: May burst if heated, highly flammable liquid and vapors. Causes eye irritation. Have they changed the formula? I have used this hair spray over 10 years. It doesn't hold my hair at all now. Please change the formula back to the old product formula.

Does this hairspray create a "helmet-looking" hold? I have very fine thin hair and I have to use what seems like an exorbitant amount of hairspray to hold my styled lift and volume. Mind you, this is after root lift products and mousse. If there's even a slight amount of humidity, yeah, I lose my lift/volume/hold within minutes, and that's just walking from my car into a building. And if there's higher humidity, yeah, I'm all gummy-head. As you can read here, I need help. Oh, and my hair is layered and shoulder length.

How is this Big sexy hair spray & play harder firm volumizing hairspray different to big sexy hair spray & play volumizing spray? Which would you recommend for oily and straight hair? Last question, which will give the best volume?

- Verified Reply - Brand ExpertBig Sexy Hair Spray and Play Harder is going to have a stronger hold and more humidity protection than Big Sexy Hair Spray and Play. Both will work for oily, straight hair, but if you are looking for the dryer version of the two (less product feel), Big Sexy Hair Spray and Play will be the way to go. Both Spray and Play and Spray and Play Harder will give you the same amount of volume, but again Spray and Play Harder will have a stronger hold for longer lasting volume. I have deepest darkest red violet hair and have used this product for years simply because it did not leave any film on my hair. However the last 2 bottles Ive purchased have left a white netting film on my hair and I am unimpressed.

Hair Type Wavy Hair
This was my 2nd purchase, and definitely my last. The hairspray, itself, is quite nice and doesn't emit harsh fumes like some other hairsprays I have used. It held my hair nicely and didn't make my scalp itch (like some other hairsprays do). The PROBLEM is, the spray cap! I thought my first can was defective because I constantly had to rinse the spray cap, and couldn't wait to buy a new can. It turns out the second can was WORSE than the first! I finally gave up today, because it was nearly impossible to get the product out of the can. Even after rinsing it in hot water, nothing wants to come out no matter how hard I press the nozzle down. Complete waste of money! Went back to my old PM hairspray.... at least it comes out nicely when I spray it.
