Spray directly into damp hair at the root to mid shaft. When blow drying, pull hair away from the root to create big volume.

Love it. Makes my hair very thick and puffy. I only apply it to the top and back of my head to give it that little teased look then Pin it with Bobby pins.
BEWARE of travel-sized...by my experience is CONCENTRATED
Hair Type Straight Hair
I have normally used the full-size Big & Sexy Hair humidity-resistant root pump and have depended on it for years. For an extended trip I needed to pack as light as possible and so ordered the travel-sized. I ended up THROWING the travel-sized away as I found it was so terribly concentrated that it BURNED MY HAIR. I could see the consistency was different after spraying it on my hand (and yes, I did shake it a lot first, as usual). I cannot get a brush through my hair now even without using this product (after using it twice). This has totally RUINED my hair and I will now need to get my hair cut drastically to get off the burned ends just to be able to get a brush through it once I return home. BEWARE!!
