Spray directly into damp hair at the root to mid shaft. When blow drying, pull hair away from the root to create big volume.

Not for me.
I have curly large ringlets and waves. I live in Houston, Texas. I saw this item was recommended on TikTok to be used in combination with color while extra strength blowout spray to extend the life of my blowout. I was not a fan of this volumizing / humidity proof hair spray. It might be user error on my end. But I'm will not use it again. I tried to use it and blow out my hair as directed on the bottle and I felt like I was ripping hair from my head and breaking my hair because the product was so stiff on each strand. It didn't smell good. My hair looks crazy. I ended up just re-washing my hair and going curly I will be returning this product. It's not for me.
