I'm a huge fan of Sol de Janeiro, but this one just didn't wow me. I'm already not the biggest fan of the Cheirosa 68 fragrance (it's definitely nice, I just prefer most other scents from SDJ), but I definitely still like it. This however was a miss for me. Works Beautifully-
I purchased this cream for the scent notes, and elasticity it claims. Does it work? Yes, after just a week of daily use- I noticed my skin is not only firm, but shining with moisture. How's the scent? The scent itself is extremely faint, so if you do want to make it last- getting the body spray would be ideal. The initial scent is more floral gourman than fruity. It does become very sweet, almost caramel, once it settles in. Not getting much dragonfruit, which is a bit disappointing for what I was looking for. My only issue (reason for 4 stars) is that the container had a very large amount of air, and not a lot of product. Especially for the price, I'd expect minimal air pockets. Otherwise, very nice product.
scent is overpowering
This smells nice but the scent is so overpowering that I had to dilute it with fragrance free lotion. even my husband and cats didn't want to be near me when I wore it without diluting it. I am bummed because diluting it will take away from the collagen boosting effects but the scent is just too strong to wear by itself.
smells like nothing
i bought the oil, body wash, this and the spray. the oil and lotion smell like absolutely nothing. the body wash smells like nesquick strawberry milk if thats your thing. the body spray smells good though (its what made me buy everything). i layer with glossier you. overall the lotion does what its supposed to do, but not worth the cost. and the oil is absolutely not worth the costs, baby oil gel works better than this😂. 5 stars for awareness.
I continue to buy this product! Love it.

For me, this is a luxury. I can't use it as a replacement for my regular lotion because it leaves my skin feeling dry after a few uses. I've purchased it several times and will continue to do so because of the scent, but for the price, I'd expect it to be more moisturizing.
