It works well
I was accosted by an Ulta employee who used the ceramide on my nose and cheeks to demonstrate how it calmed my rosacea. I like the results at the moment and it is a nice daily moisturizer for my aging skin but it does not calm my rosacea for more than 1-2 hours. As soon as the Florida afternoon sun rolls around, my skin is red. For the price point, I will never buy it again.

The StriVectin barrier restore plus soothing ceramide cream is impressively moisturizing, leaving my skin feeling incredibly soft and smooth. While I haven't noticed a significant reduction in fine lines just yet, there is a definite improvement in the overall appearance of my skin, and it looks much healthier and more hydrated. The only downfall here is the steep price point.

I was having such a difficult time finding a night cream that was both hydrating and wouldn't flair my ultra sensitive skin. Whenever my skin is irritated my cheeks flair red and I get little bumps - I was just coming off a flair from my last night cream, a bad batch had caused me to look elsewhere. When I first started this I noticed my skin felt more calm, but I did develop little bumps, so I decided to keep using it. I'm so glad I did because the little bumps quickly faded and now it's been two plus weeks and my skin is so hydrated, calm, and the redness on my cheeks that I've had for the last two years is finally almost gone. It's a little thick for day use but perfect for nighttime, I wake up with dewy skin. Which has been hard to achieve as I've gotten older! My skin type is sensitive, dry, acne prone.
