Don't Fix it if it Ain't Broken
This new MATTE version of the Barepro 24 hour liquid foundation is wrong in so many ways. 1) There are less color shades to select from, so finding the perfect match no longer exists. 2) The new color shades are not even close to the same as the prior shades based on Barepro's new color chart. 3) The MATTE formula ends up looking cakey during the day because all the facial moisture is being absorbed. 4) The foundation has an unpleasant odor. ***Please bring back the prior formula and color shades!!!***
Wrong Shade!
This is the second time I have tried to match my shade since Bare Minerals discontinued many of their shades. I am either orange or white as a ghost.
Worst foundation I've ever tried.
I'm being so honest when I say even a foundation I've tried from the dollar store has performed better than this foundation. The ONLY good thing about this product is the coverage. Other than that it's extremely cakey and separates HORRIFYINGLY in both oily and dry areas. Moisturizer and the correct primer won't save you from how bad this performs. Even with powder, it still manages to separate like you've been sweating through a war zone. For a product that has the word "bare" in the name, one pump for your entire face is enough to feel like your face is being weighed down by an imaginary brick. It's so incredibly dry under the eyes but everywhere else is an oily mess. The nerve to call this foundation matte in ESURIENT.
New formula is trash
I used the original for years, I tried the new version and it is terrible. It oxidized and turned my face a weird shade of orangy maple. It rubs off easier and is pretty drying. Like many have stated, if you have a best selling product why reimagine it when literally nobody asked for the change. Sadly, I am on the hunt for a new foundation and would not recommend this to anyone.
